Procurement readiness checklist
Align commercial documents, data requirements, and technical acceptance.
Define the evidence purchasing needs
List the purchasing entity, approver, purchase-order requirements, and commercial documents your organization needs. Ask support what can be provided and how. Raise data-processing terms, vendor review requirements, and payment arrangements before adoption rather than treating website copy as acceptance. Refer legal, tax, and accounting judgments to appropriate professionals instead of relying on this operational checklist.
Make acceptance verifiable
Engineering should provide confirmed model and protocol requirements, non-sensitive test evidence, and a rollback plan. Purchasing should retain applicable terms and document versions. Distinguish a passed test, confirmed service readiness, and an approved agreement: none automatically establishes the others. Assign an owner to unresolved questions so unconfirmed capabilities cannot quietly become production commitments.
