Anthropic protocol concepts and checks
Understand message and tool-event boundaries without assuming model availability.
Protocol concepts are not model access
This page discusses integration boundaries when considering an Anthropic-related interface; it does not claim UBTL currently supplies its models. Messages, system instructions, tool events, and streamed results may need explicit mapping between interfaces rather than a model-name substitution. Ask support to confirm the actual protocol, base URL, authentication, and model identifier. Product names do not establish native features or account entitlements.
Test the capabilities your task requires
Consult the official interface documentation for the confirmed version and list the fields and behaviors the application needs. Validate with non-sensitive samples, including relevant multi-turn, tool-result, and interruption scenarios. Fail clearly when a required capability is unsupported instead of silently ignoring it. Confirm data handling and commercial terms separately: protocol compatibility alone establishes neither retention practices nor a supply relationship.
